REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:
Please note that in order to register:
- You should complete the online registration form. If you wish to register more than one delegate, please note that a registration form must be completed for each delegate individually.
- The registration form must have the delegates’ full postal and e-mail address(es). This information is required for security and insurance regulations. Registrations submitted with companies’ or agencies’ details will not be processed until delegates’ details are provided.
- Agencies registering delegates on behalf of any member of the pharmaceutical industry will be requested to provide the name and country of the sponsoring company. This information will be used for reporting and statistical purposes.
- The only form of payment accepted through the online registration system is credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express).
- Invoices can be only issued per delegate. If you wish to register more than one delegate, and you need an invoice for the amount paid, you will be provided with one for every delegate you registered.
- If you are a sponsor or an agency, please note that if you wish to register ten or more delegates, you will be registered as a Group. Please see Group Registration Information.
PAYMENT OPTIONS:
Registration fees must be paid in advance (except for on-site registration). Payments are only accepted in EURO. Payment can be provided by credit card, bank draft or bank transfer.

Registrations to be paid by credit card can be processed through our online registration system or if faxed or posted to the congress secretariat office.

Payment by Bank Transfer
Please include the name of the delegate as reference on the bank transfer. Post, fax or email your registration form and a copy of the bank transfer receipt to the congress secretariats office. Bank charges are the responsibility of the person making the payment.

Payment by Bank Draft
Please issue the draft in EURO payable to ‘8th ECE Berlin’. The draft, together with the registration form, should be posted to: ILAE/IBE Congress Secretariat, 7 Priory Hall, Stillorgan, Dublin 18, Ireland>.
CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATIONS:
Full details of your selected registration and optional events will be confirmed in your confirmation of registration.
Registrations paid by credit card
When a registration has been processed and payment has been authorized online a confirmation of your registration will be sent by email within 5 working days.
Faxed or posted registration forms will be processed and a confirmation of registration will be emailed within 5 working days of receipt of the form by the congress secretariat.
Registrations paid by bank transfer
A confirmation of registration will be emailed within 5 days on receipt of the funds into the congress bank account. If a registration form has not been received by the congress secretariat office prior to the funds being lodged to the bank account this will delay the process.
Registrations paid by bank draft
A confirmation of registration will be emailed within 5 days on receipt of the registration form and bank draft.
Registration forms not accompanied by the appropriate payment as outlined above will not be honored until full payment is received.
DELEGATE PACKS:
Please note delegate packs must be collected in person at the registration desk of the congress. Photo identification and a copy of your confirmation of registration will be requested.
Group registration packs are normally distributed to delegates by the sponsoring party. If you are being sponsored please make sure you are aware of the pick up locations of the sponsor prior to entering the congress centre as replacement badges will not be issued.>
CANCELLATION FEES:
Cancellation of registration will only be processed upon receipt of written notification. Currency exchanges are the responsibility of the registrant and the Congress Secretariat will accept no liability for money loss through bank charges, transfers or currency fluctuations.
Refunds will be settled within one month of the congress, in order to facilitate necessary organisational and logistic procedures.

NAME CHANGES:
Any name changes
made after 8th August 2008
will be subject to a surcharge of Euro €80.00. This surcharge is not
refundable at any time. Please send your requests for name changes to registration@epilepsycongress.org
Name changes should be clearly explained, detailing who is the delegate
you
wish to replace and providing full details for the new delegate you
want to
register (name, postal address and e-mail address).
Any name changes received after 5th of September 2008 will be handled
onsite.
BADGES:
Badges must be worn at all time during the Congress, including the special events.
