Miri Neufeld received her MD at Tel-Aviv University, Israel, and is a board-certified neurologist at the Tel-Aviv-Sourasky Medical Center. She trained as a Fellow in electroencephalography and electromyography at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, USA, and is board-certified in the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society.
Dr. Neufeld is the Director of the EEG Laboratory and Epilepsy Unit, and the founder of the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at the Tel-Aviv Sourasky Medical Center.
She serves as the president of the Israeli chapter of the ILAE, an office that she has held since 2001.
Dr. Neufeld is Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology and Chairman of the Department of Neurology at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel-Aviv University. Her research interests have focused on clinical epileptology, epilepsy surgery and the effects of anti-epileptic drugs on the EEG recording. She has participated in numerous multinational multi-center drug trials, has authored book chapters, and has published a great many original articles in international publications.
